AIVARAS LENGVINAS

aivis.jpg

An independent artist who often identifies deeply with suffering and sacrifice. The artist likes to emphasise one of the many wonders of this world - man's pure desire to make his surroundings more beautiful through selfless sacrifice. This is why many of his works reflect suffering in its many forms. These forms change in various ways and are presented in different guises. The artist always looks at suffering in a positive way, as one of the world's greatest miracles. His paintings are like a dialogue with the observer. It is like a mutation or transformation in the context of different kinds of suffering.

So, the artist asks: 'Love is multifaceted, why can't suffering be the same?

Each piece by Aivaras tells the same story, but in other, highly varied, images. Of course, there are experimental works. The artist has also tried to get a feeling of and convey other interesting human experiences by looking for something strong in

them. For some time, when he was looking for inspiration in his surroundings. He was confronted with strong inner demons of people. He would identify himself with a person in order to feel the closeness of his inner demon. That way he could paint him as clearly as possible.

The artist is flexible and able to fulfil your vision. For a smoother creation, a digital version of the painting is first created for your commission so that you can adjust the future result.

In this way, it is possible to adjust and predict the size, colours and shades of the future painting to match your interior and its details.

Interview with Aivaras

I met Aivaras for the first time in a small European port city of Klaipėda. Where he works as an artist
who creates his aspiring vision.. He has traveled to many countries to explore art in its many styles,
and returned home to his city where creativity continues to grow. I was impressed by his boldness, and
to put it mildly, his sharp painting style. I thought that this person has a lot of expression within him, and
his inner world is very vast. I wanted to interview the artist and get to know him better.

Aivaras, tell me, what inspires you to create?
I draw inspiration from many things, but the more prominent things would be:
Universal theme changes according to intuition.
Discovering a person who has a strong demon within, which is presented in an intellectual way, as it is a
rather rare phenomenon these days.

How would you describe your painting style?
Pop street art mixed with a certain aftertaste of suffering.

As a young and very talented artist, what fascinates you about contemporary art?
Well, looking at the details, it's the play of colors and the well-chosen basic elements that create an
experience, and more broadly, it is the courage to show your own expression. Sometimes I admire how
a completely different presentation of space or compatibility with space is discovered.

What do you want to say to society through your work? Is there a hidden message?
Of course, there is a message in every work. Generally speaking, it mostly touches on human stages of
development/maturity. Each picture has its own stage, sometimes a very deep one with maximum
identification. And others simply flow to maintain a creative balance.

What are some of the difficulties you encounter during the creative process?
Well, in my eyes, the biggest difficulty is to overcome the black snake of thoughts and to fully execute
the maximum representation of your idea.
