 Marie MAITRE, a 37-year-old self-taught artist, creates sculptures mainly with paper clips. In 2017, she was looking for a medium that could take her a lot of time, a material that she could buy in very large quantities at a lower cost.

Since that time, paper clips have become an essential drug for his reason for living.

No longer having room to create her sculptures, Marie MAITRE focused on photography. For her, it was a great idea because the photos wouldn't hold up.

She then made photos using her own body, with a delicate sensuality, as a vector of expression. It is she herself who takes the photos and to make them even more alive she makes a montage with sets, images,... Marie MAITRE tells us that she is exhausted after her photo shoot hours.

"To create until one's last breath and to be able to leave a small trace of us on this Earth" isn't it magnificent?
