Marie Maitre is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Savigny lès Beaune in France. . At the age of 18 she began to make clay sculptures before turning to photography. This is the reason why this way of apprehending a sculpture is visible in his photographic approach. His work has been exhibited at the Parc de la Colombière in Dijon, at the Hôtel de Vogüé in Dijon, at the Chapelle Ziem in Beaune and at the Regional Council of Burgundy (France).
